RHINEFIELD HOUSE
One of the gifts for my big birthday was a weekend at Rhinefield House, tucked in the heart of the New Forest.
This historic Brockenhurst Manor — ivy-clad walls, creaking floorboards, and windows framing the forest like living artwork — was an absolute dream.
On arrival, we were seated in an intimate, regal dining room for a traditional three-course Sunday roast that was … LEGENDARY. I’d return just to indulge in this feast all over again!
The New Forest stretches endlessly in every direction — wild, calm, and beautifully untouched — with ancient woodlands, hidden streams, and those iconic ponies grazing about like they own the place (because, let’s be honest… they totally do lol).
It’s one of those places that feels almost otherworldly. And what made it even more special?
My lovely mum-in-law lives nearby, so she popped over for tea, cake, and a few giggly garden photos. It honestly felt like a home away from home… just with more ponies and prettier trees (nudge, nudge, wink, wink).
