BLENHEIM PALACE
Just a little walk from Woodstock (not the music festival!!) but the charming English town where Blenheim Palace sits in all its regal glory.
Blenheim in autumn was quite literally on fire.
We waded our way through a sea of copper, gold, and amber — leaves crunching beneath our feet — and every path and avenue seemed perfectly framed, as if the palace itself were starring in its very own period drama (which it has — this stunning palace and its far-reaching grounds have featured in Cinderella, James Bond: Spectre, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, and most famously, Bridgerton!).
We took photos from every conceivable angle — because, of course, you have to — though deep down we knew no picture could ever capture how it felt to be there.
We meandered through manicured gardens and secret woodland paths, each corner revealing a view more breathtaking than the last — nostalgic, peaceful, and oh-so-English.
And just when I thought it couldn’t get lovelier, we found ourselves in the sunlit conservatory, sipping tea and nibbling cake as the late afternoon light poured in through the glass.
Sip. Nibble. Sigh. Pure autumn magic
P.S. We also had our very own private tour from Oliver’s sister, Esther, and her adorable little boy — who just so happen to live around the corner. I was sooo jealous (and still am!) of having such a magnificent palace practically on their doorstep for morning or evening walks. Lucky doesn’t even begin to cover it!
P.P.S. Your entry ticket allows you to revisit the palace and its grounds for twelve whole months — how amazing is that?! So, so worth it. Trust me, one visit is never enough.
