ST. LEONARDS-ON-SEA

St. Leonards-on-Sea felt wonderfully unspoilt, like it had quietly slipped under the radar. Just a stone’s throw from the tourist-packed buzz of Hastings, yet a world apart!

Pale blue sea, breezy promenades, and some of the most incredible street art tucked beneath arches — it felt like a seaside secret too good to keep.

On our way there, we stopped in the medieval village of Robertsbridge — all sleepy streets, timbered cottages, and the scent of fresh-out-the-oven bread wafting from the tiniest, most charming bakeries.

Just one whiff and... mmm, yes please.

The River Rother hummed gently through the town, and then — surprise of all surprises — we stumbled across some DELIS*H Indian food.

So authentic, I could’ve sworn I’d been transported straight back to Durban (and if you didn’t already know… some of the best curry in the world lives there).
